Meet Wrens Nest Workshop Partners:

Ayurveda

Jaya Ramamurthy offers workshops at Wrens Nest periodically that focus on the ancient science of Ayurveda. Her Ayurvedic roots began during her Indian childhood, growing up in her mother and grandmother’s kitchens. She completed her formal study of Ayurveda at the California College of Ayurveda (the only state-accredited Ayurvedic institution in the USA) in 2009. Jaya is a state-certified Clinical Ayurveda Specialist, with over 1,000 hours of Ayurvedic training. For more information about Jaya, visit www.ayurjaya.com.

Transcendental Meditation (TM)

Ellen Craig is a certified TM instructor who hosts periodic workshops and groups at Wrens Nest. The TM technique allows an active mind to easily settle inward, through quieter levels of thought, until participants experience the most silent and peaceful level of their own awareness — pure consciousness. Ellen personally has experienced the benefits of TM and enjoys sharing her expertise with others. “Every time I teach someone how to meditate, I am in awe of the immediate results. It is such a simple, natural phenomenon that creates positive change almost instantly and continues to grow. It is very gratifying to watch people discover that they can control their own stress.”  To find out more about TM, contact Ellen at ecraig@tm.org.

Free Little Library

Wrens Nest is also home to a Little Free Library of Distinction. The community is invited to stop by and share or check out a book found in the Wrens Nest Little Free Library located on the breezeway.
