The camp is set for Tuesday, July 24 through Thursday, July 26 from 1-4 p.m. at Wrens Nest Center for Wellbeing, located at 2001 Shields Rd. in Dalton, Georgia.
Campers will practice mindfulness through a variety of activities led by Cindy Michaels and Jaime Beckler.Wrens Nesters will take away: daily crafts and art projects; mindful eating practices; and an at-home yoga sequence to help with flexibility, managing anxiety, regulating emotions, resolving conflicts and sharpening focus. Wrens Nesters Summer Camp for Kids is designed to be a fun, educational experience that empowers children to slow down and become aware of how their minds and bodies are connected and how that connection can help manage stressful situations through simple techniques they can easily apply in their everyday lives. Early bird price: $69 prior to July 1 – $75 after July 1 (Includes a nutritious afternoon snack break each day, artistic activities and professional yoga instruction.)
