Back by popular demand …. Wrens Nesters Summer Camp for kids is set for July 23-25 from 1- 4 p.m. This three-day afternoon experience for children ages 6-12 is designed to inspire creativity and teach mindfulness through yoga, art and nutrition. The camp is a fun, educational experience that empowers children to slow down and become aware of how their minds and bodies are connected and how that connection can help manage stressful situations through simple techniques they can easily apply in their everyday lives.
Campers will practice mindfulness through a variety of activities led by Cindy Michaels and Jaime Beckler.Wrens Nesters will take away: daily crafts and art projects;mindful eating practices; and an at-home yoga sequence to help with flexibility, managing anxiety, regulating emotions, resolving conflicts and sharpening focus.
