During each workshop we will focus on a single, versatile herb and how it can be used in our daily lives to support health and wellbeing. Valerian on May 9 at 7 p.m.
Valerian is a stately addition to the home herb garden, with gorgeous white blossoms that smell like vanilla. Valerian’s roots, however are not so charming. Most people say they smell like stinky socks! Still, despite the unusual smell, valerian roots are wonderful for the nervous system and were once valued for many, many different healing uses. Come enjoy a cup of herbal tea (we will have other options besides valerian if you aren’t feeling adventurous!) and learn the many ways this herb can help support our best health.
